This is probably one of my shortest posts ever. Just want to let the EmTube fans that apparently the application is connecting to Youtube just fine and and is once again usable. Thanks to Finest Fones Blog.
Mr-X says it's working on the Nokia N95 8gb, so it should work just fine on our N82's as well. A few people from Howard Forums are reporting that it works with their N82. If not, just keep using Mobitubia (my favorite way to watch Youtube).

I didn't even know there was a problem!
Maybe it's because I switched to Mobitubia, which seems to have the same feature set plus the ability to play back full screen.
... Or is there something I'm missing with emTube?
OH THANK GOD emTube is back! I've missed it so much. Now Mobitubia goes into the recycle bin. =)
emTube > Mobitubia due to its more mature UI, more refined search engine, more elaborate features.
i'm really confused, but emtube never really stopped working on my cell, even during the time when they said it stopped working...
hi guys isn't there a a plug in that you can install to be able to see you tube videos on the browser? thanks
just tried today on N82. can install this app by retarding phone's date 1 year. but it won't play stream file direct from youtube.com. error said : file format unknown. any idea ?
Hi there,
I just recently got my n82 and I've just updated my firmware from v11... to v30...
I was successful in installing FRING and setting up my msn and skype.
But, when I tried to install emTube using the file that was provided in the link above, the Nokia Pc Suite starts up and does the normal proceedure. The phone asks would i like to install emTube, and then I press yes, waiting for it to ask if i want to install into phone or memory card. BUT that doesnt come up; instead, a dialogue box appears and says Expired Certificate..
Can anyone help please?
Alvin,
Try and change the date to 1 year back. usually it helps expired certificates. emtube on my n82 isn't working. says file not supported and i have version 1.0.10. also mobitubia just crashes. the official youtube mini tries to connect through 3G while i'm on wifi. and i don't want that to happen so can't use that either. any help?
Can somebody straighten this out if emtube works or not because it says unknown file/format and mobitubia keeps crashing on certain videos for my n82
