First off I'd like to say sorry for the lack of posting in the past week. I put in about 65 hours at work cuz my partner was on vacation. I also ran into a problem today that I'm hoping maybe some of you can help me with. It's not really that much of a problem but I do need some pointers.
See I decided to give Ubuntu another shot since I haven't used it in a long time. Last year I broke my installation of Ubuntu and didn't bother fixing it. Today I re-installed Ubuntu and accidently erased my entire hard drive. All my pictures from the past 5 years are gone. You have no idea how bummed I am about this. Anyways, I'm stuck with Ubuntu. No more Windows. I think it's a great alternative to Windows but of course it lacks support in the Nokia section. There is no Nokia PC Suite for Linux. I need to know if anyone knows of any programs that will help me keep my N82 and Ubuntu synced up. I have a bluetooth dongle that I'm hoping will work. So far I can connect and see my files, but for some reason I'm getting an error when trying to transfer mp3s between devices. Does anyone know of a good solution?
I'm hoping I can at least sync my music, videos, and photos. If there is a solution to messaging and calendar functions that would be awesome.
For anyone interested I'm going to be posting an article about my experience with the N82 and Ubuntu after about a week. So keep checking back for that and more application reviews and themes for the Nokia N82. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
