Find Your N82 MAC Address With This Code

Just a quick heads up. If your router is asking for the MAC address you can find it by typing -

*#62209526#

from your Nokia N82 standby screen.

I've never had to do this but I've recently got a few emails asking for this code. I guess they were having problems connected to WLAN.

ps. I think this is the shortest post I've ever done.

And in case you should ever need your Bluetooth Address, key in *#2820# ... :-)

Hey thanks Fritz for that tip.

if you want an easier way to remember the code, it's the same as *#MAC WLAN# :) (where the space between MAC and WLAN is the 0/space key)

what about my gps id?

By the way, the MAC address is also printed on the sticker underneath the battery. Take out the battery, on the label with model number etc. you can see the MAC address in the last line on the left, starting with "WLAN: ".

But of course this requires that you turn off yout phone, so typing in the code Mike mentioned is quicker and more convinient.

Wow, cool. The only ones I'd really used - the short, easy to remember & most commonly required of me - *#0000# for software version & *#06* for IMEI. But I can see how MAC address in particular would be useful... Thanks Mike and Fritz... Now to Google for a bigger list! :)

*#7370# for full sys restore (format)

easier to way remember *#6220956# is its letter counterparts on the keypad w/c stands for "mac wlan" :)
