Nokia is currently working on a cool little program called Text Messenger that you install on your Windows Vista computer that will allow you to read and write text messages directly from your sidebar on your desktop. Of course your N82 needs to be connected via data cable or bluetooth.
Right now this program is still being tested and in beta, so there are going to be problems with it. Too bad this isn't available for Linux or previous Windows versions, hopefully they implement more versions in the future. I personally don't have Vista so I won't be able to test it out.
If your interested in testing out this application you can head over to Nokia Beta Labs and get your copy. Just remember there will be bugs and problems, which is why it's still in the beta testing phase. If you'd like to see this program get better, test it out and be sure to leave your comments over at Beta Labs. Hopefully they can get all the problems squared away.
