For most people (including myself) text messaging is the best way to keep in touch with friends and family throughout the day. It’s not uncommon that I send/receive up to 50 messages a day on my Nokia N82. Some people even more. When web browsing, checking Google Maps, or whatever I’m doing it’s a pain to back out and check a new message. It usually takes around 3 clicks before I can read it.
