If The N82 Had A Name, What Would It Be

It seems that Americans are obsessed with cute or quarky names for their phones. Curve, Bold, Pearl, iPhone,Viewty, Sync, Omnia, etc. The list can go on forever. Nokia has stayed away from this on both the Nseries and Eseries devices. The N95, Nokia's flagship device, could have easily been named something catchy. I was recently asked by a friend why my device, or all Nokia smartphones don't have names. He said it would make the phone more memorable in peoples minds, and a good name might actually make it "cool" to own.

That conversation led to the question...

"Mike, if your N82 had a name, what would it be?"

I've actually never thought about it. I love that my device is just a number and has no name. It sounds more professional and mature to have a number, instead of something silly like most of the competition. I've seen a lot of people call their black N82 the Ninja, which really makes sense because it packs a huge punch in such a discrete way. So how would that sound? The Nokia Ninja, or maybe the Nokia Stealth. When people see my device they think it's a basic phone since it looks so dull on the outside. But once I tell them what it's capable of they are amazed.

Of course the silver/chrome N82 would be something different, but I haven't came up with anything.

Have you came up with a nickname for your N82? Do you think Nokia should name their phones instead of numbering them? I'm curious to hear everyone's ideas.
