Before I say anymore about this topic let me just say that I am not a fan of N-Gage because I would probably never pay more that $5 for a cell phone game. Therefore I have little to no experience with N-Gage besides trying out a few demos (I wasn't impressed).
Ricky from Symbian-Guru.com wrote an article yesterday stating that the N-Gage platform for S60 phones like the Nokia N82 is doomed. Do you agree? Keep reading for some of his quotes.
Like I said, I wouldn't pay much for a mobile game. But Ricky brings up another point that I must ask myself. What does N-Gage bring to the table?

I completely agree. I haven't ever been excited about N-Gage after trying out a game. I've never played the same game twice. And I've never wanted to purchase a game from N-Gage.
So what do you all think? Is N-Gage going to fail simply because people don't want to pay for games on their cell phones? Or are there other reasons?
Maybe your one of those who love N-Gage and think its a great selling point for the Nokia Nseries lineup. I'd like to hear your thoughts.

i love n-gage games and would like to play all of them but i do not want to pay for any game i use on my phone....i am however very interested in the games and if im not the only one who isnt buying them i wish nokia would keep n-gage but make it free
I'm also not a big fan of any kind of mobile game,I have played some like Brothers in Arms and Sudoku.But I don't see that much of superior graphics on n-gage as they market it.Any way still there are other cheaper games available for N-series
as i said over at the sg.com article too: i find it quite ridiculuous how ppl complain about such things - and mostly they are ppl who're sporting one of the more/most expensive phone models... bored much or just don't have anything better to do than bitch about something? gimme a break plz.

The game selection is poor and they are just rubbish, i tried a few demos and nothing to get me excited, the interface of the store is very good they have the friends, points, all like xbox live but the games just suck. Also i was expecting better graphics than im seeing. They should at least throw in the library of original ngage games in there on the cheap.
i like ngage because you can play with your friends but i hate you have to pay for the games i only bought one the i download crash badikoot 3d car and cDOOM and other 3d games for free and i love theme the graphics awesome so yes i think ngage is doomed
I agree that they should drop the prices of games but i wouldn't say the games are crap like some here.
Ashphalt is a great game,as is space impact.Midnight Pool is good and i LOVE Tetris so it's cool with me.
But seeing as every game gets cracked i can't see Hgage lasting very long sadly.
interesting to see everyones opinion. and of course nohea's comment stands out. why should we just push over when we're paying for such an expensive phone. we should be happy with what's being offered and we think n-gage has lots of room for improvement. if anything this will only help nokia and n-gage.
now i must ask. don't you have anything better to do than bitch at people bitching about something? or are you just too bored?
oh and i also agree not all the games are crap. i really love the graphics and gameplay of midnight pool. they have a great platform, just need to readjust there marketing.
I went on a torrent site and now have a lot of N-Gage games for free in my N82, so i can enjoy them...
