Three Nokia N82 Commercials For A Slow Day

Well it's been rather slow in the Nokia & Symbian world the past few days. I'm working on a few good articles to get up in the next few days, but for now I thought I'd share a couple video commercials I found for the Nokia N82.

This first one is called Fairytale. I don't really find it very inspiring and it doesn't make me want to buy the phone. You don't really know it's a N82 commercial until the very end. Others might find it good though.

This next commercial is showing off the Nokia N82 black and it's sleek design and great photo sharing capabilities.

And this last one I think I've already shared here but I thought I'd show it again since I feel it's the best out of the three and really gets the point across of what the Nokia N82 is all about.

Which advertisement did you like the best?

Do these videos go on the air in Europe? I know I've never seen a commercial for any Nokia Nseries device here in the United States. Or are these commercials meant for internet advertising only? Do you think if Nokia were to spend the money on TV ads in the States more Americans would drop $500 on one? For current N82 owners... Do you think these commercials get the point across of how good the phone is, or are they only touching the surface?

Thanks for finding these... I actually like the second one the least, as it seems a lot more dry than the other two.

My favourite is the first one!

Hey there,

I think the last one is by far the closest in showing what N82 can do. It's difficult to capture all that phones of N series caliber can do in seconds of the commercials. You are also right I have never seen an adevertising campaign of Nokia on TV in the US kind of sad really. As if US did not have people that were interested enough to dash out few hundred bucks for a new device.Generally US is known for rather shady handset selection when it comes to providers, they are mostly dull, boring and lack innovation. I think Nokia would do good if they were to launch regular ad campaigns on TV.

yeah "they only touching the surface?"
They didn't show us multitask abilities and sports tracker.

these are not 'internet only' ads. in fact the first one used to air pretty regularly here in india. and that's my favorite one. very subtle. very artistic one. not for the masses and certainly not a 'buy me' ad. but that's the beauty of it. in fact this ad and the tagline (storytelling rediscovered) influenced my decision to buy this phone.

wow thats great to hear Rohit. very awesome that the ad inspired you to buy the phone, it shows that Nokia really can appeal to all kinds of people. glad you all are enjoying the commercials. to tell you the truth the more i see that first ad the more i like it, maybe its just cuz i like the music.

i agree americans wont like the first one because they have no soul to appeal to and and no higher emotional need to fulfill. i propose flashing the feature list word doc on tv for USA
