Mobitubia Youtube Application Gets A Crucial Update

Remember that awesome application I showed you guys last month called Mobitubia? The Youtube player that allows you to watch free youtube on your Nokia N82, and works good even on an Edge connection for the North American folks? Well it won't work anymore unless you go to their website and download the latest version. I guess what happened is Youtube changed up some of their settings, in turn the videos won't work through Mobitubia's previous version anymore.

The slick and fast developer jumped on it and fixed the problem.

The newest version of Mobitubia is v.176 build 4. Click here to go to the website and download it.

If you haven't tried out this great Youtube solution for your Nokia N82, check out my past article to get more information and screenshots.

Mobitubia is really the way to go for streaming videos. I tried emtube and compared to Mobitubia, emtube doesnt even compare. I deleted emtube and have since made Mobitubia essential on my N82.
One problem from switch between these two web stream players is that if you have saved videos from emtube, they wont play on Mobitubia. But the video quality is soo shoty anyway. Just saved the new ones from Mobitubia and all is good!!!

i personally believe emtube is better. It may not have as cool graphics and nice transitions as mobitubia has,but emtube provides several settings that really are very handy. Also, i find it better to watch on emtube cause the quality is better compared when you watch the same video on mobitubia. You can also change the max search results,choose location/folder to where you want to save videos, allows you to browse your memory and open flv files, and even scan your memory for flv files. All this is not possible on mobitubia.

@Anonymous
In case you still want to watch videos you have saved using emtube, just transfer the flv files on c:\videos\mobitubia\cahe or e:\videos\mobitubia\cache depending on yous selected memory cache for mobitubia. With emtube,you dont need to do this. If you have vdeos dwnloaded by mobitubia, you can easily watch them on emtube by letting it scan your memory for flv files.
