I just decided that I'm going to start a new cheesy little program where every Wednesday of the week I will post a handful of cool free themes for the Nokia N82 that I come across. This new day will be called "Wednesday Themesday". Creative huh? Not really, I know.
Anyways, todays themes are a few that caught my eye when I was browsing the Mobile-Review Forums. The first one which I really enjoy because of the bright vibrant colors is called Red Harmony. Sorry for the crappy screenshots, something wasn't right when I took them. I assure you these themes are not blurry.

The next N82 theme is called Aqua Bubbles. It's just what it sounds like, with a little patch of grass on the bottom.

You can find these themes over at Roman Keller Design. The Red Harmony says it's for the Nokia E90, but as you see in my screenshots it works great for the Nokia N82 as well. Make sure you unzip the files first.
Happy Hump Day everyone!
If you have any cool themes to share for Wednesday Themesday, leave your comment below with the link to the theme. Thanks!

any ideas how we (i) could find it?
hey baumi,
that is a nice looking theme and I'll try my best to find that one or something similar today. i've seen that one before for the n82, just gotta track it down. check back later and i'll let ya know.
Hi mike
This website is fantastic keep up the good work, couple of quick questions,
the default web browser is there any way to view on normal websites, i use www.bbc.co.uk/news and it throws up the mobile version. So at present iam using opera.
Secondly, what can you have on the active standby, i know about icons, wifi scan, search and calender, can you download new stuff for the screen, for example in the theme screenshots for this comment there seems to be a long list of stuff on the main screen, what are those.
Thanks and sorry for long text
Regards
Paul
wonder why it's loading the mobile version. i just popped it open on my phone and it shows the full version in all it's beauty. are you going to the site from a google search? google likes to reformat pages to fit on your mobile if your using their search. if not, then i'm going to have to look into it.
as for the standby screen, those top 3 are memos i made in the calendar, and the last one is a meeting. you really don't have many options for the stanby screen. not many applications take advantage of it, which is a huge bummer. i think it's half nokia's fault for making it so hard to nearly impossible for developers to use the standby screen.
sorry i can't be of more help and i'll try and find a solution to your web browser problem. if you come up with a solution please come back in share. take care
Hey mike, how about my question? I posted frst, why no answer for me?
dang i'm sorry gust. i read it, and meant to comment that i'm looking for a solution, but i guess i forgot to write that. either way, you have a very good point. where in the hell does nokia store downloaded files from the web? i'm gonna keep checkin.
baumi,
i found this one, which isn't as dark but it's beatiful

i'll keep looking for a dark blue one.
Hi Mike thanks for getting back to me.
the web browser thing is a mystery, my friend's n95 and e65 load it up no problem. Buit what is really strange is this, i try going directly to the page and it shows the mobile version, then i went to google and put google in classic mode (at bottom of page you can do this so its proper internet) i put BBC News in google and it threw up a direct link, this took me to the mobile version, so i went back to my google results and it throws up beneath the main lik, similar pages from the same website option, when i click the link of these it takes me to the PROPER version of the page!
Hope you all follow that, pretty strange !?!
Regards
Paul
yeah this nokia web browser is great, but likes to act up. for some reason the bbc website is treating it like it's crappy browser, which we both know its not.
@ baumi, i just realized that link doesn't fit in this page. try this to look at that blue theme i told you about
Finally fixed it, you go to preferences on the bbc page and enable desktop viewing mode. Pretty well hidden, but at least good ending
Regards & keep up the superb work
Paul
awesome, glad you found the solution.
@ gust,
hey man. if your talking about cache and cookies, it's under the advanced options when you open the web browser.
for files like mp3s that you download, you should be asked before the download starts where you want to save them.
other than that, deleting the cache should help.
is that what your talking about?
Hey mike, thanks for the reply. Sorry no. I'm talking about the files used to form up a page. The pictures and heavy graphics for example. Also when you download .sis files, the browser will show the progress. So basically, its already storing the file on your phone. When its complete, it will ask you if you want to install it. So where does the file go if you choose no?
ok gust. for the files that are used to form a page would be the cache. Just empty out your cache and that will free up some memory on your phone. it's good to do this about once every few weeks.
as for the .sis files, i am not sure where they are located after installation. somewhere on the phone memory i'm sure.
you can download y-browser, which allows you to check out every single file and folder on your phone, maybe you can find it manually. it also allows you to search for files. let me know if your findings.
helo mike. Thanks! I tried downloading files and b4 i save or install it, i shifted on y browser and searched for the file. I found it on
c:\system\dmgr\somefoldername. After that, i shifted back to the browser and saved/installed the file. Then its gone on c:\system folder.
maybe files are automatically deleted from the phone memory if you choose not to save or install the file
hey gust. i posted a comment yesterday, guess it didn't register. glad you found what you were looking for. have you heard of smartget for s60? do a quick google search and you should find a new application that specializes in managing downloads. i haven't tried it out yet. check back and let me know if you'd find that handy.
thanks for your effort mike, the themes look great! (i'll watch out for the original theme though :)
greets from austria
baumi
