Is The Nokia N82 Silver/Titanium Still "Good Lookin"?

I found some pictures over at Flickr today of the N82 silver/titanium model and realized that I've never given the phone enough justice. It can still hold it's own in the looks department even though the black version is heavily favored.

It leaves me wondering how many of you still own the N82 silver? Are you wishing you had a black one or are you content with your purchase? The black version was so highly anticipated and really stole the thunder even though they both have the same exact functionality.

By the way the Nokia N82 Silver is on sale at Amazon.com right now for $439.99. What a sweet deal for such an advanced device. Click here for the deal.

  2. I had the titanium and now have the black .. I think the titanium looks better.. I suppose I'm a minority here, but I'm happy with black too.

  4. Though black version was available i decided for titanium as it is unique and different as black phones are common

  5. an officemate has the n82 black, and though it's nice, i like the shine on my titanium better. and with the titanium face, i can clearly see the design lines, like how the edges of the call button are diagonal. :)

  7. Wow...within these last 2 days my N82 screen got pretty scratched up , though it's fine when the back light is on. My N73 took a year to finally get some micro scratches in it despite my abuse. I originally planned to get the InvisibleShield ( I get this for any device I get ) but I was waiting for the 50% deal that happens every once in a while. Have you heard of any good ideas to get rid of the scratches? I've read about some scratch removers but some seem to make your screen even worse than before. So I'm not sure which one would work nicely with the N82 ( I guess it depends on the kind of scratches too ). Has your screen been scratched? I've heard about replacing the screen itself but it costs around 60-100, somewhere around there. Sticking to the topic, black still rules! Titanium is too plain and not very stylish. Also it doesn't match my theme of getting everything in black.

  13. The titanium one looks perfect - especially with black-&-aqua theme. I had a black phone previously; it looks good initially but after awhile it looks really dull.

  15. In the first picture (http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2152/2405766069_603bd884bb.jpg), I see the standby screen of the phone is different with other N82s, it like standby screen of N78. Is it FP2??

  16. I am getting bored of this black vs. silver or what ever color discussion. The black ones will look scratchy after a while, just like the others at the the moment they are just younger. I have a silver one and took me some weeks to conclude whether i should buy a N82 because of those tiny keys. I wish i had nokia looking like the E51 but with the features of the N82. Now there is the Nokia 6220 classic which would be next my next advise for new nokia users

  20. mmm... although many are going gaga over the black one, I personally prefer the silver/titanium. Looks classy, in a way, and coz of the metal color - looks really solid too.

    cheers!

  24. I think the 'warm titanium' is better looking.
I have done a 'first impression' article of the two N82 colour options on my blog.
Also posted a link of your article in my blog- www.adityasphones.wordpress.com

    Have a look!

  27. I am rooting for the Titanium. Yes, because I have it, and because I'm rooting for the underdogs, but you'll be surprised just how much sexier it is in person. I've received nothing but compliments. I'm glad I didn't wait for the black one. Everyone's phone is black. Besides, I've been actually using the front faceplate as a mirror -- in case anything gets stuck in my teeth after a dinner date. ;)
